Your Outsourced IT Department — Predictable, Proactive, Accountable

1ICT runs your day-to-day IT so you don't have to. Monitoring, help-desk, security, cloud, vendor management — one partner, one monthly fee, one throat to choke when something goes wrong.

Sound familiar?

Nobody actually owns IT — staff ask around when their laptop breaks

You get big invoices only when something's already gone wrong

Your ‘IT guy' isn't reachable at 5pm on Friday, and you're the one holding it together

You have no idea if your business is actually secure, patched or backed up

1ICT replaces the chaos with a documented, monitored, SLA-backed IT operation — for the price of a junior salary, without the leave, sick days or hiring risk.

Common questions

What exactly is Managed IT?+

Managed IT means 1ICT acts as your outsourced IT department for a predictable monthly fee. We monitor your systems, patch and secure your devices, respond to staff tickets, manage vendors, and give you a single accountable partner instead of firefighting break-fix invoices.

How is this different from calling an IT guy when things break?+

Break-fix is reactive and expensive when it matters most. Managed IT is proactive — we prevent 70–80% of incidents through monitoring, patching and user training, and everything else is covered by your SLA. No surprise invoices.

Do we need to fire our current IT person?+

No. Many of our clients keep an internal IT champion and use 1ICT for after-hours, escalation, cybersecurity and cloud. We flex to how your business already runs.

What response times can we expect?+

Standard SLA: 30-minute response for P1 (business down), 2 hours for P2, 8 hours for P3. Faster SLAs available on Enterprise tiers. Every ticket is logged, tracked and reported monthly.

Do you work after hours?+

Yes. 24/7 monitoring is included on all plans. After-hours human support is included on Gold and Enterprise, and available as an add-on on Bronze.

How do you bill?+

Fixed monthly fee per user or per device, agreed up front. No hourly surprises. Project work (migrations, installations) is quoted separately and approved before we start.

How quickly can we onboard?+

Most SMEs are fully onboarded in 2–3 weeks: audit → documentation → tooling deployment → handover. We keep you operational the whole time.

What tools do you use to manage our environment?+

Enterprise-grade RMM, endpoint security (Microsoft Defender / SentinelOne), Microsoft 365 admin, ticketing (with client portal), documentation (IT Glue-class), and reporting dashboards you get access to.

Is our data safe with 1ICT?+

Yes. We are POPIA-aligned, follow least-privilege access, log every admin action, and can produce audit trails on request. All engineers sign confidentiality and background checks are on file.
